Located in eastern Lebanon county originally called "Tulpehocken Town" by it's founder Isaac Meier named after the Tulpehocken creek which runs through the borough. Later would be renamed Myerstown after Isaac was assassinated and the citizens began to call it Meier's town in his honor. The Isaac Meier Homestead was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973
